Shipping, Import and post-Brexit Custom woes....

Why did we believe the politicians?....  It's just that we never seem to achieve the upside but most certainly experience the downside(s).

Shipping within the UK and Northern Ireland is straight forward.  Dealing Couriers and Customs for international trade is painful, involves too much unnecessary paperwork (which never gets read) and always takes longer than quoted.  Believe me when I say I've consider just saying no.

 

Supplying new units abroard should be easy, but is made more complicated by the inability of couriers to predict tax, duty and other fees up front, which makes it difficult for us to pay and include such charges in your invoice.  The alternative is we get them to charge you, but strangely this service is more expensive and subject to inexplicable delays in the destination country as customs argue with couriers who won't
